Investment-Calculator.com ("we", "us", "our") provides free, browser-based financial calculators. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you use this website and how it is used.

02 Data We Collect

We collect minimal data, limited to standard web analytics:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Referring website or search query that brought you here
• Browser type, operating system, and screen resolution
• Country or region (derived from anonymized IP address)
• Whether you are a new or returning visitor

We do not collect your name, email address, financial data, or any other personally identifiable information. No accounts, no forms, no sign-up.

03 How the Calculators Work

Every calculator on this site — compound interest, ROI, SIP, loan EMI, retirement, inflation, stock P&L, and FIRE — runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Values you enter into any input field are processed locally on your device and are never sent to our servers or any third party.

When you close or navigate away from a calculator page, all entered values are discarded. We do not use localStorage or sessionStorage to persist your inputs.

04 Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate. GA4 collects anonymized usage data via cookies and sends it to Google's servers in the United States.

• IP addresses are anonymized before storage
• Data is used solely to improve site content and performance
• We do not use GA4 for advertising or remarketing
• Data retention is set to 14 months

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser settings.

05 Third-Party Services

This site loads resources from the following third-party services:

• Google Fonts — fonts.googleapis.com serves the Inter and JetBrains Mono typefaces. Google may log your IP address when your browser requests these files.
• jsDelivr CDN — cdn.jsdelivr.net serves the Chart.js library used for calculator visualizations. jsDelivr may collect anonymized request logs.
• Google Analytics — googletagmanager.com and google-analytics.com collect anonymized usage data as described above.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other third parties. We have no advertising partners and display no ads.

06 Cookies

This site uses only the cookies set by Google Analytics. No other first-party or third-party cookies are set.

• _ga — Distinguishes unique users. Expires after 2 years.
• _ga_<id> — Maintains session state for GA4. Expires after 2 years.

You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will not affect the functionality of any calculator on this site.

07 Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
• Erasure — request deletion of your data
• Restriction — request that we limit how we process your data

08 California Residents (CCPA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information.

09 Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
